My client is a global multi award winning and best company to work for recruitment firm, established in the early 2000’s this company has gone from strength to strength in the last two decades progressing to achieve a head count topping over 100, across 7 international sites, an enviable financial turnover in excess of £60 million and with a global contractor base in the region of 500. This extremely cash rich and forward-thinking organisation is urgently seeking a fully qualified or finalist level finance manager to have direct line responsibility for the finance function which consists of a sizeable team of 9. This role reports directly into the group finance director who is seeking a pro-active and dedicated 2nd in command to essentially run the day to day of the finance function. New initiatives are planned for the back-office function in 2020, including the roll-out of a new finance system, as well as many other streamlining projects, so please bear in mind this opportunity will face many challenges to bring positive change and overall structure to back office. The role encompasses but is not limited to the following duties: Mentoring the finance team which includes 3 PQ management accountants Group Management accounts Budgeting and Forecasting Group Treasury Staff Payroll Pay and Bill and other new and ongoing initiatives The ideal candidate will possess senior level finance experience, honed from within a multinational CONTRACT lead recruitment business.
