Overview
There is presently a rare opportunity available within an industry leading Biotech company based out of Cambridge as a marketing coordinator working for a year within a fixed contract. This opportunity is the ideal start for an individual to get their foot in the door working within a scientific conglomerate as a marketer, which is valuable experience moving forward, this is an opportunity to vault your career in a specific industry direction. About the role: You will be responsible for a large variety of different duties and roles within this period of employment including working closely with the cardiovascular business unit to supply them with marketing support, you will also be working closely with the sales team to handle customer queries. The role will also include a leading role on the platform Zinc to run approval processes, contracting & supplier activities. There will also be coordinating within the delivery of multi channel marketing campaigns e.g. websites, email campaigns, print advertising. You will also oversee supervising coordinating budgets & tracking budget progress, including within the management of materials. Throughout the period of employment there will also be numerous meetings and events that you will be expected to respectfully attend. About you: You will be a professional individual with proven experience working within either a marketing role or life sciences based position. You will have the ability to build working relationship with your colleagues to function proficiently across numerous teams and branches, to achieve this you will be a clear and concise communicator. You must have the ability to strategically plan using information available to you to determine the best course of action in any given situation, critically this relates to understanding brand value propositions. Finally, you must have the ability to effectively identify problems and potential road blocks to the plans you've put in place and from that solve those problems with your strategic thinking and precise communications skills.
