Overview
Our client, a charity based in Earls Colne, are searching for a Communications & Insight officer to join their busy marketing and communications team. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, have a keen eye for detail and be enthusiastic and ambitious. Key accountabilities To work with the Marketing and Communications Lead to support and implement the marketing communications strategy and plan. Assist in the creation and delivery of all internal and external communications materials and campaigns. To provide proactive and reactive media relations, including liaising with national and local media. To engage with new audiences via social media and planned engagement on digital media. To assist with the daily operation of the company website To support award submissions where appropriate The successful candidate Excellent copy writing skills Knowledge and experience of interacting with different audiences using digital engagement Educated to a degree level or equivalent Ability to build effective working relations Proactive attitude Flexible to travel across Essex for events and undertake occasional evening work Knowledge and experience of using IT systems including MS office and CMS systems.
