Our client, a prestigious IT Services and Solutions provider, is recruiting for a Telecommunications Operations Manager to join their business in the UK. Position Title: Telecommunications Operations Manager Position Type: Permanent Start Date: July 2020 Location: Chertsey, UK Contact: Sibila Klapan Ivandic | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 47 Responsibilities: * Be the point of contact for European subsidiaries, their BPO's and contact centres * Monitor network performance and utilisation via system portals * Monitor Telephony services via system portals * Monitor IVR services, conduct changes within scope, as required * Conduct incident management swiftly and appropriately, as required * Verify 3rd party vendor monthly invoicing * Issue customer based monthly invoicing * Managing & report SLA (Service Level Agreement) monthly. * Support SR (service request) ticket system * Support project management and change management activities from preparing SoW's through to coordination of changes and roll out, as required * Identify key stakeholders and build effective relationships with customers * Identify risks and recommend plan for contingencies * Track and resolves risks, issues, and action items throughout operational management * Prepare presentation material and present to senior managers as and when required * Manage issues related to business professionally and promptly. * Identification and development of new business opportunities in the client base * Work with product management in IT Innovation Business Team and SDS HQ to define product and service offerings that meet customers' needs Qualifications: Essential * Bachelor's/Master degree in related field or equivalent demonstrable experience * Ability to organize operational work effectively, juggle competing demands/changes * Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, particularly around finance and billing * Proactive, independent, responsible attitude * Strong relationship building and influencing skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * 3+ years experience in telecoms industry with exposure to * Telephony * Networks * Voice equipment * Understanding of telecoms network operation * SLA management * Risk and issue management * Service desk management/operation Advantage, but not mandatory * 3+ years experience in contact centre telephony and network operation industry * Global or European experience an advantage * Full project lifecycle experience within an I.T or Telecoms environment * Direct report management experience For more details contact: sales(at)manningglobal.com Quoting reference: CH_MGIS_ Or call Sibila on: +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 47 View our latest jobs: www.manningglobal.com Follow us on twitter: @ManningGlobal If you know of anyone within your network who may also be interested in this position, would you please forward this 'Email & Role' to them.
