Overview

HYBR is an online marketplace for student accommodation that connects students directly to landlords, cutting out the letting agent. We automate the basic role of a letting agent to ensure that we can be up to 80% cheaper than our competitors and that first-time renters are supported throughout their rental journey. We are creating a win-win for both parties. We are looking for a hard-working and passionate technical co-founder who can initially work part-time in exchange for equity in a fast-growing prop-tech business. The first job will be to build our Content Management System.  We want to build a new website to launch by September 2020 with the aim of handling more landlords, listing more properties and adding personalised dashboards for landlords and students. We are searching for a CTO – a full-stack engineer looking for a technical challenge, an opportunity to gain equity and work on an exciting greenfield project. This person must be proficient in conducting user-research, product development and building a website using Javascript, React-Native and Node to build our Content Management System. For our MVP, we are planning to plug in other third-party services until we have a bigger budget to make all the processes as automated as possible.  I do not come from a tech background so I am looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the project and bringing our ideas to life.
