Ecommerce Marketing Manager Based Central London Remuneration: Upto £60,000 plus excellent benefits Permanent An exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading premium Home Furnishing brand as an Ecommerce Marketing Manager. My client is the "go to" brand within the UK for premium Home Furnishing. The role is reporting into the Director of Marketing and as the E-commerce Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and lead generation through the development and delivery of an effective e-commerce strategy. You will ensure investment is maximised, whilst conveying a consistent luxury brand experience through the marketing funnel. The successful candidate will be ready for a challenge - inspired and excited to help transform the marketing function of an established and well-respected luxury British brand. You will be able to operate both strategically and in the detail, pro-actively and efficiently monitor the performance of marketing channels and work at pace to deliver results. You will be able to work both independently and collaboratively, enjoy and thrive on channel ownership, and ultimately be disciplined in their approach to hitting business objectives Responsibilities: Lead, plan and deliver best-in-class digital marketing activity to maximise lead generation and sales, owning and leveraging channels such as PPC, SEO, email and paid social Manage and implement the web and product strategy, ensuring that the site is merchandised and UX optimised to drive conversions Lead a review of the current e-commerce platform and manage the migration to a new platform as needed Develop and implement the SEO strategy to drive growth in organic rankings and traffic Develop and implement the PPC strategy to drive both lead generation and conversion Lead a review of the current email platform and manage the migration to and integration of a new platform Build and own the email plan (campaigns and lifecycle) to drive sales, lead conversion and customer retention across key customer segments Actively seek, test and optimise opportunities across audiences, creative, messaging, landing experiences and channels to maximise investment and deliver a consistent and personalised customer journey Develop relevant engagement and commercial KPIs for all channels, with clear metrics that demonstrate effectiveness and contribution to growth Own and lead the performance analysis and reporting of marketing activity, summarising progress against the plan and highlighting key learnings and opportunities for future improvement Keep abreast of industry developments, bringing any opportunities back to the business to increase channel perform Managing a Digital Marketing Executive with a view to growing the team Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in an e-commerce role Strong track record of delivering commercial results through both lead generation and customer acquisition A tenacious and commercially astute self-starter who is process driven and possesses excellent attention to detail Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of SEM (including technical SEO) Experience in setting up, managing and optimising Google Ads Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and tracking set-up Solid understanding of email marketing automation and personalisation tools Experience of website CMS (Paraspar experience highly desirable) and an understanding of the market-leading eCommerce platforms Familiar with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation Analytical mind, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data leading to clear insights and actions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to confidently and articulately communicate with senior management Well-organised, logical and efficient with outstanding project and stakeholder management skills Ability to write commercial, engaging copy for digital channels Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel Working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred Both B2C and B2B experience is preferred, but not essential Based Central London Remuneration: Upto £60,000 plus excellent benefits
