Job Description

Rainmaking Venture Studio (RVS) is partnering with a global supplier of precious metals and resources to change the way people buy and think about owning jewellery. This Venture will create a direct-to-consumer, digital-first, jewellery investment brand, allowing customers to: buy transparently priced jewellery, with minimal mark-ups over true precious metal and gem values. In so doing, we will make the process of unlocking jewellery value fairer and easier. We're looking for a hands on CTO who will work as an equal partner with the CEO to build and scale the technical architecture that the Venture requires to succeed. You will be the technical leader in app build, uses of data, payment integrations security systems, personalisation, automation and everything else. As the venture is still in its inception it will be your decisions that pave the way to its success. Requirements Firstly, youre motivated to join a startup and love building a business from the ground up, with strategic ability to see how a product can evolve Full stack experience using multiple languages and frameworks with a proven portfolio Experience of architecting and delivering AWS hosted services A self starter, you are a problem solver and motivated by success and are good humoured when the pressure is on. Ideally some experience of running a team Good at communicating with non technical audiences
