Job Description
We have an opening for an ecommerce Logistics Manager to join our team in Liverpool Street in central London. Responsibilities * The ability to understand and operate in all areas of the supply chain (international and supply chain including USA, China & Europe), ranging from purchasing and importing product to distribution and customer care. * The drive and energy to proactively find improvements, take ownership for various projects and manage direct reports in a fast-paced environment * Negotiate prices with service providers for warehouse operations and deliveries * Proactively identify delayed orders and negotiate a resolution plan with suppliers * Manage, develop and train team members * Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external partners * Work within the contract guidelines, ensuring performance is kept to a high standard and record all feedback to support continuous improvement throughout the business * Help create a strategy for eCommerce supply chain development with focus being on both operational and logistics network efficiency * Identify, investigate and propose cost saving opportunities within the supply chain, whilst developing operational plans to implement, ensuring due diligence and stakeholder engagement * Ability to manage bulk data, developed reports & forecasting, * Develop pricing tools to respond quicker to our customers * Utilizing quantitively and qualitative methods to analysis competitor pricing and market trends * Supporting new product launch packages * Track actual volumes and cost per order by channel to ensure its in line with Budget. * Analyse monthly financial performance and invoices from different service providers to ensure they are in line with annual plan. * You can create tools for analysing market conditions and keeping team members informed on latest developments * You will create tools for internal use to build efficiency and share knowledge, both within the team and company * You will collaborate with operations, sales, marketing compliance as needed for new projects Requirements * Excellent Excel skills and analytical abilities * Native Mandarin speaker & excellent understanding of Chinese culture * Mathematic skills to devise insights from multiple data sources * Experience managing large volumes of data * Ability to build solutions & automate pricing and invoicing visibility * Experience within business analytics * Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills * Proactive approach to continuously improving processes * Team Collaborator and excellent communicator * Conscientious, with strong focus on quality of work and good eye for detail * Inquisitive, and open to new ideas and ways of working * Experience in a B2B & B2C logistics/supply chain role preferably within ecommerce * Knowledge of 3PL Management Benefits 60-75K p.a.
