Overview
2 x Commercial PIA's are required for the East & South London areas. Working from a home base you will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial losses typically for losses up to £50,000 and these could include business interruption losses. All losses will be dealt with on a cradle to grave basis. The types of claims handled will include Landlords, motor trade, office, public house, factories etc. You may also handle some larger domestic losses. Some losses may be dealt with via digital evidence on building related losses to create a scope of works and to facilitate settlement. Candidates will have previous experience as a loss adjuster or claims inspector dealing with domestic or commercial losses. You must be able to work from a home base with minimal supervision and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Progression towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential.
