Overview

WR Fundraising Recruitment are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser looking to take the next step in their career at a global charity supporting the maritime sector. You will be working towards developing long-term partnerships and leading on the management of all trusts and foundations with a focus on growing the current portfolio. This exciting role will be covering new and existing large grants, and working closely with their manager on impact reporting and evaluation. A compelling writer, you will be developing a pipeline covering trusts and statutory funding, and will be focused on achieving results as part of a small and dedicated team. With proven experience of trust fundraising, this role is a great opportunity to develop and grow your own skills with a new and committed fundraising team. Senior Trusts Fundraiser Full Time Permanent (37.5 Hours Per Week) Southampton, Hampshire Up to £35,000 p.a. dependent on skills and experience Key responsibilities of the role will include: Research sources of funding from trusts and foundations in the UK To research relevant Trusts and Grant making bodies, developing compelling applications, and ensuring that Trust income plays an active role in supporting the other fundraising income streams. Build new relationships with trust and grant awarding organisations, updating them with the work of the charity and impact of trust funding. Stewardship of existing trusts and foundations, reporting on impact and identifying new opportunities for support The ideal candidate for this role will: Have relevant experience of Trust and Grant fundraising or appeals. Experience of developing all aspects of a trust fundraising programme Have proven experience undertaking research, developing proposals, and winning funding. Be a confident communicator, with exceptional written skills, able to tailor writing styles for different audiences and formats Be experienced in managing relationships with trust and grant awarding bodies Experience of working with youth and/or community organisations Be highly organised, able to effectively prioritise, with demonstrable project management experience To register your interest please send your CV in the first instance.
