Overview

Our client, regulated by the FCA, is a fast-growing digital finance company that since inception has serviced over 500,000 unique customers. The organisation is currently in the process of an exciting expansion and diversification strategy and as such we are seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO), sitting as part of the Executive team, to: Improve and expand the current product portfolio Own the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring an optimal experience Own the product, marketing and commercial functions Identify new product opportunities and take them from concept to launch Responsibilities: to support, in conjunction with the CEO, the development of the Company's strategy; to support the CEO in the implementation of the Company's long and short-term plans in accordance with its strategy; to support the Chief Lending Officer in the design and development of the product portfolio pricing strategy; to act as a relationship manager with third-party suppliers in connection with product delivery and customer journey experience; to ensure the product functions are appropriately organised and staffed to enable them to achieve the approved strategy and to deliver positive customer outcomes; to assess the principal Product related risks of the Company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed; develop a regulatory product & experience strategy and roadmap based on your deep knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment and the organisations strategic and competitive position in the market; lead the vision of the regulatory product & experience strategy and roadmap; assess how regulations impact products and services, develop potential solutions and partner with end-to-end experience teams to develop and execute optimal solutions; define, analyse and monitor key performance metrics to support and inform solution decisions and effectiveness; work with stakeholders to guide and manage the release or launch of new products or product innovations; ensure that roadmap and prioritisation processes are well communicated and understood across the organisation; scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact and work with implementation teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources; evaluate existing products, value propositions, or partnership opportunities to identify new ways to enhance and integrate existing products; create business cases, implementation, end to end operational and support processes, and product roadmaps for concepts under development; develop project plans, resource planning, and development timelines; work closely with the CEO and Executive Team on a wide range of project-based initiatives Requirements: 5 years in commercial or product management or consulting, customer journey and/or product marketing roles in financial services, fintech or other regulated technology space Deep understanding and appreciation of the regulatory environment with experience of compliance and legal functions in a relevant industry Bachelor's degree or similar in a relevant discipline Demonstrated track record of developing creative solutions in product, process or policy that delivered business results Experience in evaluating requirements of regulatory and/or consumer protection regulations as they apply to financial products and services Experience working with and presenting to regulators, partners, auditors and other external parties
