If YES, We'd LOVE to hear from you today A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Carrier Manager to join an established organisation that offers a fun, engaging working environment and great benefits. The Logistics Carrier Manager is responsible for ensuring consistency in performance through their third-party carrier network, driving OTIF delivery and a great customer experience. Working with current and new service providers to keep abreast of industry developments and managing the delivery of projects and programs. You will also manage digital fulfilment through DC, click and collect, drop ship, and fulfil-from-store models with an OMNI lens. Responsibilities: Manage third party supplier performance; negotiating service levels to ensure continuity of supply to quality, cost and agreed delivery dates. Evaluates and obtains best rates from their service providers through regular benchmarking and/or requests for tender. Manage service proposition, processes and systems to ensure deliveries to digital consumers are conducted in a controlled environment and capable of expansion to support business growth across the complex fulfilment network. Maintaining consistent service levels across all digital fulfilment models. Implements, tests and maintains Metapack carrier integrations. Assist in the development of ecommerce fulfilment in the European arena. Manage the Fulfilment roadmap and projects from inception through to delivery; building and leveraging relationships to ensure success. Oversee the preparation for, and navigation of, a post-Brexit cross border trading environment. Manage and analyse operational activities for the fulfilment function to meet people, service and cost expectations, drives actions for improvement. Responsible for developing the team so they perform in alignment with our vision and values, and in order to fulfil succession plans. Requirements: Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to interpret data and effectively apply outcome to the needs of the business. Results orientated and able to develop new strategies. Able to communicate clearly at all levels and influence to drive the department forward Experience of leading and managing a team, with a proven ability to effectively use people management processes. Experience of managing multiple third-party carrier and SaaS partner relationships in a fast-changing and evolving environment. Experience of Metapack software (or similar) beneficial.
