Applications for the role of travel Adventure Sales Consultant are open until the 9 April. // Outline of role - Adventure Sales Consultant This role is all about people. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of Secret Compass’s interactions with our wider community, connecting with our customers to identify the right expedition team for them and managing their personal journey through the booking process and pre-departure questions, before continuing the conversation on their return. Our team members are avid travellers, active explorers and curious individuals so your role is to inspire them through the confident and competent delivery of our core messaging and a genuine passion for - and personal experience of - adventure travel. // Key areas of responsibility Team member interaction. With the support of both the Communications and Operations teams, you will guide customers through the sales journey, developing and maintaining a personal relationship with them throughout and delivering consistently excellent standards of customer care. Sales process. From initial enquiries, follow up phone calls, payment processing and booking administration, you will ensure the customer’s journey is smooth and professional with a personal touch, utilising our CRM system to ensure the process is completed accurately and efficiently. Throughout, you will answer customer questions, going one-step beyond to deliver exceptional service. Retention. In conjunction with the Communications team, design and develop new initiatives to maintain the conversation with our wider community and keep people engaged with Secret Compass. Opportunities. For experienced candidates to shape the role and the future of the company with input into Communications strategy, development of our Bespoke expeditions arm, management of events such as Audience with Adventure, and involvement with pitching of creative projects. // Life at SCHQ We’re a fun team at SCHQ, fuelled by tea and biscuits - and the occasional G&T We’re busy and with sections of the company spanning the adventure travel, TV and film, risk management, creative production and magazine industries, there is no such thing as a 'normal’ day.
