Overview

Do you have extensive events management experience within B2C and B2B? You will be responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of the Events schedule, Annual Industry Awards and training courses in accordance with company policy and annual business objectives, including revenue targets. Key tasks will include: Effectively sourcing and managing new award sponsorship opportunities in existing and adjacent markets Planning, implementing and managing the Events team, setting out objectives and measurements on performance Managing company event assets so that they are used productively, liaising with marketing on all relevant aspects of product marketing and promotion at events and exhibitions to achieve revenue targets Managing the annual awards schedule, ensuring that the company's leading position within the industry is maintained and enhanced Sourcing and negotiating new venues Submitting annual consolidated budget reports and proposals, ensuring approved expenditure within agreed budgets Your proven experience of delivering outstanding events on time and within budget combined with understanding of contract management, commercial awareness and the ability to create strong relationships with business partners, sponsors and suppliers will enable you to excel in this role.
