Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of Advertising and eCommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and the Amazon Advertising Platform. The WW Event Sponsorships team is looking for a Principal Program Manager to test and launch new event types beyond our current High Traffic Events (Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday) and Standard Retail Events (e.g. Mother's Day, Back to School) to grow the Event Sponsorships business. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. The person in this role will be required to think big, dive deep, have a strong bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results to Amazon's advertising solutions. This role is located in London. Objectives: Create the EU non-retail Event Sponsorships program by establishing a vision and key priorities for the program. Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams Partner with EU Sales, Prime Video, and Retail leadership to identify and launch new event sponsorship types, including Broadcast Sponsorships for live-streamed sporting events and E-Games Sponsorships Form and manage cross-functional project/program teams. Defining, planning, organizing, managing, and executing complex projects/programs across multiple organizations and stakeholders Develop strong processes that will allow the program to scale globally
