We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who wants to join a sizeable marketing team and if you have experience maintaining websites, creating engaging email campaigns and a good understanding of digital media, then this is definitely worth a read. The role You will be joining a first-class organisation which is steeped in history and success, set in contemporary and purpose-built office space, which works both internationally and within the UK. The key focus of the role will be to manage the design and production of numerous marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring all work is executed in line with the overall marketing strategy. A self-starter by nature, you will be primarily assisting with website updates and the creation and management of email campaigns for a variety of brands to grow brand awareness and maximise lead and revenue generation. On a day to day basis, you will assist the Digital Marketing Manager in the formulation of digital strategies, in particular the creation & maintenance of an email marketing plan for multiple businesses. You'll be responsible for the creation, distribution, and management of email campaigns across the business on a monthly basis, and be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation etc.). You'll provide creative ideas for content and email marketing and assist with updating websites across the business (up to 45 websites) & collaborate with design teams to improve user experience/journey. You will measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and provide monthly reporting. You will also acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date and maintain existing partnerships with digital agencies. You'll also contribute towards their wider marketing strategy to promote the brand proposition and key messages. What we're looking for A balanced career history to date with around two years' experience, ideally agency based coupled with an excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices. You will need a relevant degree and experience with B2B and B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO. Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Google Ads) & web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends, etc.) is very important. It is advantageous to have a good knowledge and experience of CMS systems such as Umbraco and Wordpress coupled with knowledge of creating SEO-optimised content as well as tracking and analysing know-how that affects website traffic, service quotes and target audiences. An understanding of Adobe Photoshop and optimisation of images for web as well as HTML skills for the creation of email campaigns is a distinct advantage too.
