Overview

This role will be pivotal to our Insights team’s development. Research and Evaluation Manager Responsibilities: Our Evidence into Practice project aims to embed the charity’s outcomes into all aspects of its evaluation, learning and measurement. Meanwhile, we have active research projects and partnerships with multiple universities and funders. A Research and Evaluation Manager will oversee the growth of this work. Research and Evaluation Manager Requirements: You will be experienced in supporting high quality evaluation practice across an organisation and developing strong programmes of work in this area. You will be collaborative and relational in your approach, and value community and practitioner wisdom. - Previous experience of embedding an evaluation framework within an organisation. - Understanding of evaluation from practitioner perspective – ability to develop evaluation practices that are responsive to the needs and priorities of community members and frontline staff. - Experience of working in an advisory and developmental capacity to improve impact measurement practice. - Experience of including community and / or user voice within research, evaluation and development using participatory and / or co-production methodology. - Extensive knowledge and experience of evaluation and impact management techniques for measuring social impact including experience supporting others to develop theories of change and theory based impact evaluations. - Experience of designing creative evaluation methods, using participatory approaches, and mixed qualitative and quantitative methods. About Bromley by Bow Centre: The Bromley by Bow Centre is a vibrant community centre in the heart of Tower Hamlets. The Centre is a charity with a national and international reputation for its innovative work in inspiring and empowering the people from the local community, using a unique model of integration. It supports over 2,000 people each month. Location: London, E3 3BT Job type: Full Time, 12 months Fixed Term Contract, 35 hours per week.
