Overview

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Manager to support their Head of Marketing, you will be supported by three Marketing Executives and a Marketing Assistant, you’ll be responsible for growing online sales for an £80m business, specifically through their new eCommerce site, which hosts a diverse produce range of over 7,500 products. This is a newly created position due to growth of an exceptional, awarding winning business. Salary Is up to £42,000 DOE. Cheltenham. The Role As An eCommerce Manager: Support the Head of Marketing to deliver and shape our eCommerce and digital marketing strategy. Manage the eCommerce site content, customer journey and product merchandising, including but not limited to: Promotions, Product Descriptors, Product Imagery, Campaigns, Checkout Process, Automated Emails, Landing Pages. Manage a digital project team to deliver the eCommerce strategy, with the support of the Head of Marketing. Work alongside key stakeholders to deliver site improvements that enhance the customer experience and drive revenue and improved performance Manage, and where necessary source, digital agencies and third-party suppliers to deliver the digital strategy. Work with the marketing team to setup and maintain reporting dashboards to measure site performance and KPIs. Work closely with Commercial and Inventory to ensure stock availability is effectively managed and commercially funded opportunities are maximised. Conduct regular competitor research and site testing to ensure the eCommerce site is optimised. Work with the marketing team to manage the delivery of digital marketing campaigns to deliver positive ROI, ensuring site traffic is optimised and converted - including, but not limited to, PPC, SEO, marketing automation, email marketing (Hubspot). KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: An expert in developing commercial webpages, and a track record of improving online sales performance, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), AOV and minimising customer drop off Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and eCommerce tools to improve business performance Utilised A/B testing platforms to enhance and improve the UX. Experience working with Magento and WordPress, or a similar eCommerce system. Strong project management skills and experience delivering digital marketing campaigns to drive revenue and increase profitable leads, including PPC, social media, SEO, marketing automation, email marketing (the previous use of Hubspot would be advantageous). Impeccable stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and educate senior stakeholders, including Board members. Experience managing teams or upskilling individuals in eCommerce techniques and digital marketing methods. A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionally.
