Junior Marketing Analyst Permanent £21,000 - £26,000 DOE Milton Keynes We are assisting our client in recruiting a bright Analyst to join their business in a brand-new role . You will be part of a small, conscientious Marketing Team and will provide insightful reporting on the day to day digital marketing activities within Europe. This is not a creative role, but a role to provide insight, trends and reporting on marketing activities with the objective of increasing sales and growth. You will have a natural analytical mind and experience in an analytical position. Key responsibilities of the Marketing Analyst will include: Analyse and track customer behaviour, identify changes and deliver insight and analysis to drive continuous improvements for commercial growth Work to deliver deeper insights about customer behaviour Provide ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns Understand the effect of different online and offline channels on customer behaviour, to create optimal channel strategies Design customer questionnaires and implementing surveys to capture customer feedback and understand customer needs and wants, to guide business strategy Using reporting tools to monitor and report on performance (digital channels) vs KPIs and produce actionable insight that delivers significant, measurable customer and commercial benefit Identify and spot opportunities Monitor competitor marketing activities and outcomes, providing insights for future planning Providing ad-hoc analytics and reports as needed The Marketing Analyst needs to have: 6-12 months' experience and a proven track record, particularly in a B2B environment A confident analyst with the passion for understanding the customer Experience of using analytics packages, ideally Google Analytics Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively Excellent communication skills, able to converse data to stakeholders A passion for continual improvement Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving The ability to manage workload effectively, and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint If you feel you have what it takes, please apply today because we'd love to hear from you Role advertised: 4 March 2020 WE WOULD PREFER YOUR CV IN WORD FORMAT Ascendant Recruitment is one of Milton Keynes and Northampton's leading recruitment companies, with PA/Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Finance and Temporary divisions.
