We are now looking for a Colocation Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales for our colocation facilities. The Role As the Colocation Sales Manager, you will develop and manage the sales within the colocation market, growing in line with our key strategic priorities. You will build key relationships across Europe, developing a new business pipeline and identifying sales opportunities and initiatives. This position does not have any direct reports. However, you will be supported by a Sales Development Representative and Inside Sales Support Team in order to help you bring in new business. Specifically, your role will involve: - Managing complex sales cycles - Driving sales of new logo colocation business - Actively prospecting and generating leads - Liaising and co-ordinating with the Sales Engineers to design customer solutions - Ensuring product specifications meet requirements for colocation markets - Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to develop a target list, go-to-market and market awareness programme - Producing timely, detailed and accurate forecasts About You To join us as a Colocation Sales Manager, you will need: - A background in colocation, data centre or disaster recovery new business sales - Effective communications skills with the ability to build effective, customer-orientated relationships - Good presentation skills as well as solid sales insight and knowledge - The ability to think creatively - A flexible and adaptable approach - Knowledge of Cloud, LAN and WAN Other organisations may call this role Sales Development Manager, Data Centre Sales Manager, Colocation Sales Development Manager, Business Development Manager, BDM, Key Account Manager, Technical Sales Manager, or IT Sales Manager.
