Overview

Catering Equipment Business Development Executive Our client operates in the specialist sector of quick service catering equipment. They design, manufacture, market and sell their own comprehensive range of catering equipment to both individual or multisite operators across the UK and Europe. They now seek a Business Development Executive to join their existing team. Managing a combination of existing and new accounts the Business Development Executive is specifically targeted at driving new business and distributor opportunities. Responsibilities and Duties include: Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings Attend sales meetings to cement business relationships and convert sales opportunities Develop quotes and proposals for clients Research organisations and proposals for clients Find and develop new markets and increase sales Attend conferences and industry events when required Successful candidates will ideally have experience in sales and are keen to progress their career in this arena. Knowledge and experience of the catering sector is not necessary, but a desire to learn, progress and work hard are essential. This is an industry that relies on a customer centric approach and all sales are done in a consultative manner, therefore an ability to listen and to consult with clients is as important as being able to close. In return a starting salary of 26k-32k per annum is provided, an uncapped commission structure (realistically 40k-45k per annum), lap top, mobile phone and company pension scheme is provided.
