We are looking for an experienced Business Partner to support as a trusted advisor for the Sales teams, Marketing and & Finance teams to provide analytical and commercial excellence support. As a Commercial Excellence Business Partner, you will need to work as a trusted advisor for the business to understand and help support the direction and achievement of the UKI by gaining insight into the drivers of sales performance and providing information for decision making.Your key responsibility will be the provision of qualitative & timely customer analysis to create insight for performance management and support key decision making by providing robust data around in-market sales and competitor intelligence, along with sales force activity and customer segmentation and relationship data. This role would also identify changes and challenges within the structure of the market place and communicates these to assist the company to provide a proactive response.In addition to the regular reporting responsibilities the team will also be contributing to several wider projects in the forthcoming year. These include the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) reporting suite, increasing and coordinating the adoption of Power BI reporting within the organisation, refining customer segmentation to allow for focused use of sales force resources, data discovery within the organisation's internal systems for transparency reporting and fully embracing the compliance of the SFE & Commercial Excellence team by augmenting process and procedure documentation.We are looking for someone with strong Business Partnering experience, with a good understanding of sales customer performance management, incentive plans and reporting. You will have strong analytical skills and you will need to have the ability to forward think based on trending data and budget targets. Duties and Responsibilities + Sales Reporting + Authoring and issuing market sales reports as required + Collating data from heterogeneous sources and aggregating into various systems and databases (ETL) + Maintaining the integrity and consistency of the data warehouse + Cleansing where necessary + Sales Incentive Plans + Own the process on producing sales data for the incentive plans + Setting and sense-checking sales force targets + Measuring and tracking sales force performance in sales and activity + Product the performance vs target reports for Finance to complete payment + Informed Decision Making + Produce analysis of our customer trends, CRM system outputs + Supporting new product launches + Identifying and investigating discrepancies + Presenting insight to the various sales and marketing teams + Market insight - competitor analysis + Developing a new CRM reporting suite + Combination of SQL, Tableau and PowerBI skills + Data-based segmentation of customers + SQL query writing + Continuous improvement + Identifying and implementing methods of delivering new reporting + Training sales force staff on the use of reports, including developing their analysis skills Person Profile + Strong business partnering experience + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide business insight. + Detail-orientated with the ability to provide high-level overview + Excellent communicator with the ability to clearly relate complex and sometimes technical ideas in both written and oral forms to colleagues of all technical abilities.
