Knowledge Lawyer - Major Projects
Overview
The Knowledge Lawyer will work with the Global DR lawyers focused on major projects (including engineering, construction, energy and public procurement) as well as coordinating with others in the firm involved in the various stages in the life-cycle of major projects. Although based in London and primarily supporting the London team, the Knowledge Lawyer will have a global remit, supporting and working with practitioners across the firm on these areas of focus-most notably in the UAE and Continental Europe. The US is also a key area of focus. Supporting the development of the practice both internally and externally will be at the heart of the Knowledge Lawyer's role. The Knowledge Lawyer will work closely with the leaders of this area of the practice and the senior lawyers within the team to help shape the future of the practice. The Knowledge lawyer will work with the MPI Steering Group (which involves partners across offices/practices) on business planning and strategic direction for MPI. Candidate Profile: Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background. A high level of relevant successful experience working as a lawyer. Demonstrable experience of advising on major projects - for example construction, engineering, energy or infrastructure projects and/or major government funded projects.
