Overview

Closing date: Monday 4 May 2020 Interview date: TBC We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, to join our team of Estates Cross-College Technicians within the Faculty of Estates and Facilities. This role will include daily maintenance of College properties, cleaning/servicing of College equipment, general porterage duties and other general technician duties. The successful candidate will have the ability to contribute effectively in the operation of a quality support service. The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake first aid training and first aid duties, as part of the wider Estates Team and College system. The ideal candidate will: Hold GCSE English & Math (A-C) or be willing to achieve within 12 months’ from appointment Hold a qualification in Construction or Building Maintenance (desirable) Knowledge, experience or skills in wet and/or mechanical trades (desirable) Have broad experience of working within the FE sector Have experience of building maintenance - desirable Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle We reserve the right to close this vacancy when we are in receipt of sufficient applications.
