Job Title - Head of Estates, Capital and Health & Safety Site Location - Southport & Ormskirk Speciality - Estates, Capital & Facilities Status of Contract - Permanent Hours - Full-Time 37.5 hours per week Band - 8b Salary; from 53,168- to 62,001 per annum Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust provides healthcare in hospital and the community to 258,000 people across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. Acute care is provided at Southport and Formby District General Hospital and Ormskirk District General Hospital. This includes adults' and children's accident and emergency services, intensive care and a range of medical and surgical specialities. Women's and children's services, including maternity, are provided at Ormskirk hospital. The North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre at Southport hospital provides specialist care for spinal patients from across the North West, North Wales and the Isle of Man. The Trust also provides sexual health services for the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly appointed senior management team managing all aspects of Estates and Capital services and deputising for the Associate Director of Facilities. Your teams will be a blend of established experienced managers in estates and newly appointed enthusiastic managers in the capital team. Your focus will be to review and refresh systems and processes to ensure the trust meets all compliance obligations, develop longer term services delivery strategies and provide value for money.
