Estates Building Craft Operative

The Estates and Facilities Department is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, resilient and hardworking Building Craft Operative to join the Estates and Facilities Team in North Essex. If you have a proven track record of delivering a high quality building maintenance service consisting of reactive works and planned preventative maintenance tasks this could be the role for you. You will carry out all aspects of general building works to maintain NHS premises in North Essex. This will include the building, repair and maintenance of all aspects of the estate including drainage and ventilation. Successful candidates will need to be reliable, flexible and a good team player. A full driving licence (manual gear box) is essential and a vehicle will be provided. Hours of work are 37.5 per week. This role will be part of an on-call rota which will entail emergency working at evenings and weekends for which additional payments will be made. Annual leave entitlement is 27 days plus Bank Holidays rising to 33 days after 10 years service. We are committed to the delivery of outstanding care for our patients.
