In the role of Credit Controller (private medical) you will be joining an accountancy team of 5, reporting into management and chasing overdue debt. This is a CV enhancing opportunity to make a bigger difference in a smaller finance team in a fantastic London location. You must have intermediate Excel skills as you will be expected to use this a lot. Please do not apply if you don't have any experience in a Credit Control role. Client Details Page are proud to be working with a market leading, London based, private medical company who are experiencing an exciting period of growth, despite the current climate, and are looking for a Credit Controller (private medical) to join their accountancy team. Description Chase debt via call, email and letter, invoices ranging from £150 up to £1000 Open and distribute post Read Control - Download and allocate online and card payments Code remittances - once the Bank statements has been downloaded B2B and B2C chasing. Dealing with insurance companies and patients themselves Take card payments over the phone. (Allocate and email or post receipt daily) Aged Debt report for insurance providers and use client portals if necessary Reconcile accounts Provide copy invoices when requested PO Report for all NHS Allocate all remittances received- Post, email, health code, providers online Chase missing remittances Credit and recharge for incorrectly charged invoices Create, print and dispatch shortfall invoices Liaise with booking/client support to ensure the correct info is received for billing purposes Run end of day report and match to bank statement the next day Profile Good communicator, including exemplary telephone manner Exhibit a professional manner in all dealings with internal/external "customers" and exhibit the ability to work on own initiative Able to adapt your approach to whoever you're chasing debt from Demonstrate the ability to effectively plan your working week, and to manage your time efficiently Bright, ambitious, eager to learn An appetite for change, someone who is willing to help change processes to make things better A quick learner Able to confidently take ownership of the ledger Good Excel skills - able to run reports, manipulate data and create pivot tables and vlookups At least 1 year experience in Credit Control Able to work in London Job Offer A fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller (private medical) to join a hugely successful and rapidly expanding accountancy team.
