Financial Accountant - temporary position - based in central London. This is an ongoing temporary position, in the media technology sector. Client Details This Financial Accountant - temporary position is for a media technology company, based in central London. They are looking for someone who is a self- starter, confident and can hit the ground running. Description The key responsibilities for this Financial Accountant are: Preparation of the annual financial statements by following the appropriate accounting framework and time-lines. Working with the auditors to fulfil their requests and answer their queries. Owning the month-end close accounting process and preparing the management accounts. Monthly analytical review of the different company P&L's and Balance Sheets Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of variances and issues, identified. Ensuring compliance with local tax/ statutory requirements. Continuous drive to improve processes and controls Liaising with the wider finance team to ensure accurate reporting Supporting the Financial Controller with: Setting the group accounting policies and procedures Adhoc accountancy, reporting and projects Profile The successful person for this role, based in central London will be immediately available and possess the following attributes: Expertise in using Navision Experience in streamlining month-end process from compliance, controls, and number of days perspective Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience of working in tech industry Experience of working in advertising/media (desirable) Job Offer This Financial Accountant - temporary position will offer the candidate an exciting opportunity to learn and progress within accountancy.
