Exciting opportunity to work within a rapidly growing professional services business in a Financial Accountant capacity, offering support to the international business, CFO and executives. Client Details The client are a leading professional services provider that have been working with blue-chip businesses for over 20 years. They are preparing to release a number of their own software's into industry and are now looking for a financial accountant to help facilitate their growth. Description The key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant: Managing day-to-day accounting using QuickBooks, handling invoicing, cash management, and credit control, keeping full accounting records for the Group up to date Completing monthly accounts for all entities, UK and India, on a timely basis Monitoring all bank accounts on a daily basis and reconciliation on a monthly basis Reconciling balance sheet accounts at the month end and investigating differences Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of cash flows and management accounts Assisting with preparation of reports and reconciliations for annual audits; and liaising with auditors to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and standards Assisting with all Group tax affairs, includes corporation tax, VAT and any other HMRC returns Supporting the financial planning for completion of annual budgets and forecasts Maintaining asset registers and control over fixed assets of the company Profile The successful Financial Accountant: University degree (2:1 or above); and a professional accounting qualification (pref. ACA, ACCA) Preferably has 2 years' industry experience in at least a medium-sized organisation, with management accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting Proficient in financial accounting, controls and reporting, including external statutory reporting; and in preparation and management of audits Sound knowledge of QuickBooks; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with strong influencing and leadership skills; able to build relationships easily and galvanise a team High level of planning, organisation and time management, able to work well under pressure, prioritise a heavy workload and work both re-actively and pro-actively A team player with a strategic outlook and the ability to drive change where necessary, possessing a high degree of integrity, tact, diplomacy and corporate spirit Job Offer The successful candidate: Competitive salary Regular company socials Complimentary team breakfasts Modern Central London offices
