Overview

Are you an experienced Travel Consultant who is passionate about travelling, commission hungry and keen to earn a fantastic OTE? Are you well-travelled to long-haul destinations? Leading long-haul, tailor-made travel agency is looking for a suitably experienced Travel Specialist, with ideally with solid GDS knowledge (Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan, Amadeus) to join this busy travel team. This established luxury long-haul travel agent and tour operator, is looking for a Travel Specialist to join their Cheshire branch and sell world-wide package and tailor-made itineraries Salary up to £18k pa plus fantastic earnings commission, £28k pa uncapped JOB DESCRIPTION: - Using your flair for sales and customer service face-to-face and over the phone - Tailor-making holidays to Australia, New Zealand, Africa, South America, North America and Asia - Also booking European packages, to compete with the multiple agencies - Using first hand destination knowledge in addition to travel industry experience. - Using nett fares, CRS Galileo and ground contracts to create dream itineraries. - Working to achieve sales target and earn commission and incentives - Working five days a week: shifts Mon-Fri between 0900-2100 and a rota to cover Saturday and Sundays. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: You will be a suitably experienced travel consultant, possess solid experience of long-haul travel sales in a Tour Operator or Retail Travel experience, with GDS knowledge and first-hand knowledge of long-haul destinations. THE PACKAGE: A competitive basic salary between £16k pa - £18k pa and a fantastic commission structure, with other benefits including FAM trips and discounted travel make this an opportunity not to be missed.
