Mail General Manager - Worldwide brand offering a great fitness product 30 - 32k Basic plus bonus We are recruiting for this health and fitness job in Chiswick. My client is a worldwide recognised fitness operator, offering a great product, a premium service and equipment at affordable prices. Each and every fitness club is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment and have a real focus on functional training; their clubs have modern, trendy, dynamic feel to them. We are looking to recruit a General Manager for their great fitness club in Chiswick. You will be accountable for all that happens within your club and will be the spearhead in driving the fitness club forward commercially and operationally. You will manage a team to deliver exceptional customer service, strong commercial success, a great experience and ensure the club is running smoothly at all times. With that in mind we are looking for someone that has experience within the fitness industry. The perfect candidate will have experience in three key elements: Commercial - You will have experience in driving membership numbers, strategising lead generation/corporate plans and building in a strong retention focus. People - You will have a track record in building a winning culture and developing your people. You will be managing a team including PT's, Fitness Instructors and Membership Advisors. You will need motivate your team to share collective goals and work together to drive the club forward. This is so important and the best general managers in their business are genuinely passionate about their people. Service - You will have examples of where you've created an amazing environment for all members, plus your team, to feel welcome. You will be leading from the front and very much be the face of the club. This great fitness job would suit candidates who are currently working in fitness as a: club manager, general manager, assistant manager, operations manager, deputy manager, sales manager or fitness manager. Although the ideal scenario is someone who has been a club manager or general before, an experienced candidate who is stepping up to their first club management role is also very much possible.
