Overview
Are you based in Edinburgh or the Lothian's and want to find a new role within an established planning consultancy? Would you like the opportunity to work as an integral part of the National Planning and Development team covering high profile and complex planning projects across Scotland and England? Due to further expansion and new instructions, my clients are looking for either an RTPI or RICS qualified Senior Planner to join their successful Planning Team in their Edinburgh Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that has built a great reputation through its practical understanding, technical skills and ability to deliver commercial solutions to complex planning issues. The ideal candidate will be capable of being able to think and advise strategically, and who can build strong relationships and be a trusted advisor. You will have a key role as a Senior Planner, preparing and submitting planning applications, working closely with existing clients and assisting in coordination and management of strategic and major applications. This role would suit candidates with at least 3 years' post qualification experience and previous consultancy experience or those from a Development Management or a Planning and Development background at a comparable level.
