Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for an Estates & Investments Surveyor to support the Council’s Estates and Investments team based in Telford. The position is a full time, permanent role and in return for joining us offers a competitive salary of £33,799 - £36,876 per annum. About the role: Our Estates & Investments Surveyor will be responsible for the day to day management of the Council’s growing Property Investment Portfolio. This includes service charge budgeting, lease renewals and rent reviews together with redevelopment and regeneration projects, land disposal programmes, acquisitions and property investment. Duties of the Estates & Investments Surveyor will include: - You will be involved in the delivery of the Council’s corporate disposal programme and working with external partners to deliver the Telford Land Deal - As a member of one of the borough’s leading commercial agents you will be involved in providing professional property advice to other services across the Council and ensuring the Council delivers its statutory duties as landlord of the Property Investment Portfolio What we’re looking for in our Estates & Investments Surveyor: - A Chartered Surveyor with consideration given to candidates with a general practice background and with demonstrable experience in property management with excellent communication and customer service skills - Experience in planning and development is also desirable What our Estates & Investments Surveyor will receive in return : - Salary sacrifice schemes including childcare vouchers, car lease scheme and health care schemes - Flexible working opportunities including agile working - Payment of professional fees, support for training and professional development - Free Parking - Generous annual leave - Subsidised leisure facilities and discounts on products and services Closing date : 2 nd April 2020 If you share our passion for making a difference, we would be delighted if you joined us.
