Key Account Manager - Hospitality, Retail and Leisure South of UK upto £60K, Great benefits, Car Due to planned growth my client is looking to strengthen its sales force with the key appointment of a Key Account Manager. As a Key Account Manager, you will be one of two positions dedicated to focusing on the Retail, Leisure & Hospitality sectors. Working collaboratively with both the Specification and Business Development Teams, this customer-facing role is directly aligned with the core strategies of the business. Your responsibilities will include: To develop effective partnerships with designated customers within the Retail, Leisure & Hospitality sector in line with KAM principles. To construct/update annually Key Account Plans for major customers. To plan for effective coverage of the customer base in relation to existing and potential clients. To acquire and develop a thorough working knowledge of all the Company’s products and a full understanding of all of their applications. To organise trials to demonstrate viability of the companies products in use (conviction) where commercially appropriate to do so. To negotiate buying agreements and set up agreed terms with end user customers when appropriate to do so. To keep up to date with current legislation and sector/industry trends. To attend and take an active part in meetings, training days, seminars, exhibitions and networking events as required by your manager. To identify potential new product/sales opportunities and pro-actively communicate them to your manager. To effectively communicate customer and/or product complaints, competitor activity and local field intelligence using the appropriate medium.
