Overview
A Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor is required on a contract basis, to carry out works for a well established firm based in the City of London. The firm are a multidisciplinary consultancy who work throughout the public and private sectors. They deliver a mix of professional services from building surveying through to cost management, design and principal designer services. Established for over 30 years, the client employs over 120 staff through their office network and have a strong critical mass within the commercial sector. Geographically they cover a wide spread within the UK operating from two offices, based in London and Scotland. If successful, you will be operating from their London Office. The building surveying team are 14 strong headed by 3 associates combined with handful of senior/chartered and APC level building surveyors. They provide a wide range of building surveying services overseeing projects from inception through to completion. Typical work they provide range from contract administration, project management, surveys and building pathology with project values totaling anywhere from £150,000 up to £8Million. The role will require somebody who has a deep understanding of the public sector. You must be able to complete projects effectively and efficiently and are pragmatic with your approach. Your work will be geographically spread in and around London, so it is imperative you are flexible and are willing to travel. In return you will be paid well and provided with all the additional tools and support you need to carry out your work.
