Overview
One of our Central Government clients requires a Procurement professional to manage their procurement activity for a range of business areas across the organisation. Duties include: Develop commercial strategies through engaging and influencing stakeholders across a variety of business areas Develop innovative sourcing strategies to meet the organisations objectives and improve efficiency Provide professional procurement advice to business areas and ensure the delivery of best value Implement training schemes to support the development of commercial thinking across the organisatio Assist with the development and implementation of new procurement processes and procedure that improve efficiency Essential Experience: MCIPS or Qualified buy experience Working knowledge of public sector procurement rules Track record working within central government Experience of managing corporate goods and services procurement processes Strong negotiation and influencing skills
