Sales Representative Location: Port Solent, Portsmouth Salary: Competitive Hours of Work: Mon – Fri, 9-5.30, 37.5hrs a week About the Company: Are you looking to accelerate your career in sales? This role will build the foundations which will underpin a successful career in telecommunications sales in a fast-paced growing company. This will include gaining an understanding of the overall telecommunications market, products, services and modern sales and marketing methodologies and tactics. Sales Representative Responsibilities: Generating new business opportunities through cold calling and nurturing pipeline Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries Effectively partner and work across the Gamma direct teams as directed by Marketing Work closely with Sales teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools provided Schedule appointments and demos for sales team members Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email To develop a deep Vertical based knowledge with an ability to highlight prospects common pain points within the Vertical and communicate how the company’s service will address these. Focused on making opportunities for further sales engagement over time you will act as an initial subject matter expert on Gamma product offerings/solution development skills Work with multiple personality types across a variety of roles and levels – including Executives, Managers and Operational contacts Bring a high level of energy and confidence each day to work Prospecting new potential customers using various methods including cold calling, event and campaign follow ups and social media. Learn the Sales methodologies used by Gamma to accurately qualify opportunities and build pipeline. Maintain and manage internal and external relationships, as required to effectively meet the requirements of the role To ensure all activities and information are logged onto Gamma Hub (Salesforce) Working with the Marketing department to ensure the quantity and quality of data reflects the addressable market. To report and forecast accurately on opportunities including accurate use of all internal systems and resources. This will include Managing data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and databases are relevant and current. Sales Representative Requirements: General education to ‘GCSE’ level standard Experience working within a busy sales environment Experience in a similar role (Preferred) Proven track record of achieving targets Willingness and ability to learn at speed (You will be put through an intensive onboarding program prior to starting your role as a Sales Representative) PC skills to intermediate level – MS Office Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outlook (Desirable) Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales and marketing team Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements Strong and professional communication skills Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving goals and KPIs Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do.
