Overview
Would you like to lead a team to help young people get back into employment across London? You will be joining a large charity with lots of continuous opportunities for progression (they constantly win new contracts). Based at Waterloo, but working across the central and South London boroughs in community locations, you will lead on 2 SFA funded programmes, with a new one about to launch (which you will be one of your first tasks). The programme identifies young people in London who are not in education, training or employment, and then supports them onto 6 - 8 week vocational training programmes to develop their skills in areas such as customer services, recycling, horticulture, retail and business admin. Upon completion, your team of 6 employment advisors will then support the young people into employment. You will be great at leading a team to hit contract targets. You will be comfortable in monitoring the contract KPI’s and producing reports. You will be great at creating community partnerships with other third sector organisations, and will understand the challenges young people face.
