I'm excited to be working with a fantastic business who are looking for a supply chain planner mainly demand, but with elements of supply planning. They're really open to background you don't need to have worked for a massive blue chip, or family owned SME's all your career, it's far more important that you're proactive, bought into the journey they're on and keen to lead from the front and make a difference. Responsibilities: Utilise systems and tools to forecast demand and plan inventory levels of stock across 6 UK warehouses Create daily replenishment orders to a schedule and manage the inbound supply through to receipt at depot Purchase Order confirmation and expediting MRP Data Generation Manage warehouse network stock levels through controlled inter-warehouse movements Maintain product status and data accuracy within the system Product Code creation with ownership of product information and system integrity Creating substitute cross selling alternative codes Maintain supplier forecasts Root cause analysis, corrective action and communication for out of stock situations Build stocks to support promotional activity, trade shows and to cover stocks around supplier and Pedigree Holidays Coordinate receipt of new products Supporting resolution of Accounts Payable invoice queries Supporting Operations with product/stock enquiries Maintain supplier performance information for analysis prior to scheduled supplier visits Data analysis Requirements: We're not looking for a specific background, but there are some essential principles you'll need to be comfortable with for this to be the position for you you'll be focussed specifically on Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Replenishment, so experience in these areas will be essential. Beyond that, we're looking for someone who's well up on their data analysis, someone who's comfortable running reports and using data to build business strategies. Why this opportunity?
