Overview
Sales and Marketing Manager The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for initiating, planning, directing and managing the implementation of the Sales and Marketing strategy for the hotel. They are tasked to meet and/or exceed all revenue goals. This incorporates directing the activities of the Sales, Meeting & Events, Reservations teams, ensuring these are aligned with the Sales and Marketing strategy. They are expected to maximise the sales potential and achieve revenue budgets from the following markets, Meetings & Events, local and global corporate and groups. Providing potential and existing clients, and colleagues with the highest level of sales service through the values of forward thinking, open mindedness and drive. Required Attributes Responsible for developing a sales culture for the property, acting as the sales ambassador and leader, demonstrating flair and passion to the Sales team and other teams within the hotel Ensure all personal and team KPI’s and financial targets are met annually Self-motivated individual, with strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure Creative approach in securing business from all elements of Corporate Company’s / Business Travel & Hotel Booking Agents - across accommodation, Meetings & Conference / Banqueting / F&B segments Survey, review and analyse competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence. Identification and management of all Corporate and Consortia RFP’s with volume for city, ensuring maximum inclusion for the hotel & conference centre. Management of all PR and Marketing activity to increase hotel and brand awareness. Ensure guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market competitiveness and exceptional financial performance To be aware of current market trends and other factors that would influence business or create favourable market conditions Salary of £45,500 per
