Overview
This is a fantastic role for a driven, creative and articulate individual to join a credible business development agency in the Watford area. The role is in the Watford area, with excellent transport links into the office, and as the Business Development Consultant, you will: Partner with corporate clients, building and developing relationships over the phone, converting cold calls into meetings Work across a broad portfolio of sectors Plan and prioritise business development activities to meet targets Influence, negotiate and close deals, leveraging different sales methods to secure meetings with new customers You will receive: Generous target-based bonus / commission 30 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays Christmas close-down for around 10 days Free onsite / offsite parking and a two-minute walk to a mainline station Essential Requirements: Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, and you must be confident when talking to corporate decision-makers of all levels. You should be determined, resilient and proactive, with a solid amount of work experience in a business environment and have proficient IT / typing skills. It would be a bonus if you had: Some sales or business development experience where you have converted cold calls into meetings would be a bonus. Why Should You Apply?
