Overview

An opportunity has arisen within one of our clients for an NHS Account Manager within their innovative and ambitious software business. The Account Manager will have a varied and exciting role in a business that is rapidly expanding. The Account Manager will be a key member of the Business Management team and will play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of our contracts and consequently the success and profitability of the business. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including development of key client relationships, optimisation of revenue opportunities and input into the strategic development of the department as a whole. Ultimately the role is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the business are delivering best value to our clients. The head office is in Milton Keynes but the role will require national coverage. The Role Relationship and Contract Management Ownership of a portfolio of customers: prospective and existing clients Management of account strategies and plans to deliver client objectives Develop and maintain client relationships at senior levels Production and analysis of management information Utilise performance reports to design and implement initiatives Agree, deliver and maintain client SLAs and KPIs Revenue Management Work with business development team to ensure contract maximisation and expansion Responsible for turnover and net profit Identification of opportunities and leads within current client base by leveraging existing relationships Undertaking sales presentations to prospective and existing clients Ensure a high level of customer retention and contract renewal Revenue generation strategy management The Person The successful applicant will be highly analytical, with a proven ability to interpret a set of figures and create an action plan based on the results. The BM will be required to articulate information in a way that is both interesting and compelling allowing clients to arrive at informed decisions. Whereas the technical skills to analyse and interpret data will be fundamental to the role, you will also be personable and diplomatic; he or she will need to show judgement that can be trusted to deliver the right results. The BM must be able to influence client and supplier behaviour whilst maximising profitability.
