Job Title: Business Development Manager (NHS) Location of Role: Milton Keynes - Travel throughout UK wide is essential Salary Range: £40,000-£50,000 DOE (OTE Uncapped) Benefits: • 25 Days annual leave (plus bank holidays) • Discretionary KPI bonus • Personal Training Budget of £1,000 per annum (in addition to other training opportunities provided) • National Rail Card • Perkbox membership • Monthly Health & Wellbeing allowance • Multiple social and charity events each year Job Description: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key member within my Client’s NHS team. With a market leading product and a proven track record, the right candidate can make a very significant contribution to the business by securing new customers at pace. Responsibilities: • National coverage, travel throughout the UK required • Provide full end-to-end sales from proposition development to long term support of a client engagement • Managing the complete client lifecycle from sourcing, securing, onboarding and management of the client experience. • Shaping the NHS business development strategy and developing the company brand • Lead identification and generation (whether independently or working with marketing and Account Management team) • Development of new business opportunities • Close new business opportunities, winning new contracts and clients • Undertaking sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients • Build and develop strong customer relationships • Business case / bid / proposal development • Development and management of personal pipeline • Network development - This may include, but not be limited to; Attending conferences and exhibitions Engagement with key sector influencers and leaders Identification of potential partners Reporting: • The BDM will report directly to the Divisional Director • All sales activity will be recorded on the CRM system • The BDM will be expected to develop and manage a robust pipeline and able to forecast accurately • It is essential the BDM feedback to the business to support; o Solution and Product development o Sector understanding and key messages Experience / Skills: • Experience selling software and/or solutions required • Experience selling to public sector (health and social care) preferred • A clear communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills • Excellent organisational and administration skills • Innovative and critical thinking aligned with enthusiastic approach • Be able to work independently and take initiative • A solid track record of success in a senior business development role and new business sales • A proven track record of negotiating, selling and managing strategic client relationships • A highly ethical, consultative and team-oriented approach to solution sales • A proven track record of building senior level relationships • A creative and innovative approach to building client relationships • Ability to work through the whole sales cycle including the ability and willingness to generate and follow up on your own leads • Strong track record of achieving your sales targets • High degree of customer empathy and emotional intelligence • A passion for understanding the products and value that adam can deliver • Must be operationally competent and not simply a strategist or manager, must 'walk the walk’ without reliance on a team Contact Please either call or send your CV to Guy Hancox at HancoxRead Recruitment to express your interest today
