National Junior Account Manager - FMCG My client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team based near Uxbridge to co-develop and lead the execution of the Retail Grocery Mults strategy, executing the agreed tactics that maximise value sales, volume growth and profit for the business with the Retail Channels. We are looking for a resilient, highly numerate, commercially astute individual that is looking to take the next step in their sales career. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the operating plan, working alongside the UK Management Team to determine and execute the five-year strategy for the business. This role involves working with associates from across the business, most notably, Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams. Key Accountabilities of Role: • Build strategic engagement with key Grocery customers by leading the cross functional customer team to out think, out influence and out execute our competition. • Negotiate and agree a joint business plan/promotional plan (range & promotions) with the customer, delivering both internal & external objectives. • Negotiate and deliver unmissable visibility with our promotional programmes, managing the end to end promotional planning and execution process by ensuring promotions are communicated, forecasted, delivered and then evaluated in a timely manner • Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts and measure financials to plan - Working with supply chain, factory forecasting & finance • Work closely with Marketing & Category functions to close distribution gaps, identify and win new business and deliver New Product Launch plans (distribution, display, turnover targets) • Work closely with the Category & commercial planning team function to implement agreed pricing & promotion structure. Experience and competencies: • Experience of FMCG Account Management is essential • A proven negotiator and relationship builder with practical experience of category centric selling which has delivered tangible results. Personal: Up to £40,000 base with 10% bonus and company car • Demonstrates the ability to communicate with power and persuasion to win support both internally and externally • Able to work cross-functionally to identify and prioritise existing and future growth opportunities • Able to influence difficult conversations when required, at all levels of the business. • Demonstrates the ability to communicate with power and persuasion to win support both internally and externally.
