Sales Executive London (based close to Tower Bridge) Up to £50k plus commission of circa £30k Our client based in South East London are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their growing business. Overview of the Sales Executive position: This is a quota carrying direct sales role involving the acquisition of new customer accounts for our client's project information management software solutions. The target market is in architecture, engineering, construction and building owners (AECO). The primary objective of this role is to maximise the number of new customer wins, maximize the number of new seats licenced and to maximize revenues from the UK market. The role includes working with the other UK team members and leveraging the successful results being achieved by our existing customers to grow our client's customer base and market share. Responsibilities for the Sales Executive: • Meeting and exceeding the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) by successfully penetrating and increasing sales to new accounts achieving sales goals as aligned with our client's leadership and core values. • Working closely with prospects in UK to increase their knowledge, skills, and focus on our client's products. • Planning and forecasting daily, weekly, and quarterly activity in sales to drive new business (calls, emails, web demonstrations, onsite meetings, technical calls, and conferences). • Work with Solution Engineers and Services to consult and solve client problems. • Maintain strong customer relations and satisfaction, building trust with prospective firms. • Participating in internal sales and marketing discussions and supporting lead generation activities (e.g. attendance at exhibitions, networking events). • Any other activities that may be deemed necessary from time to time to ensure the growth of sales within the UK. Experience required for the Sales Executive: • Experience in technology Sales with a proven track record of selling and working with partners to maximise revenue. AECO industry experience, a plus. • Ability to assist in generating new customer revenue through qualifying, presenting, and assisting in the closing of Solution Sales. • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and independent work ethic. • The expectation is the candidate will have strong "hunter" instincts and drive. • Proven ability to take direction and work independently to achieve and exceed Sales’ expectations. • Ability to provide technical presentations both virtually and in-person, alone or in coordination with the Sales team. • Working knowledge of AECO industry processes and commonly used solutions in this field. • Must be able to travel within territory as needed. • Proficient in SalesForce CRM system Special Requirements • Initially you will be targeting prospects around London area to take advantage of you being based in the London office. • The position also involves (at least once a year) visits to North America for company meetings, sales training, etc. • A valid UK driving license and suitable vehicle for independent UK travel to meet with customers and/or attend industry/networking events would be an advantage.
