The Company Our client is a global supplier of a range of innovative Foodservice products sold to the HoReCa and Retail channels. They are a recognised market leader in Foodservice with a flair for innovation and a well-earned reputation for the excellent quality of their products and the strong relationships they have with their customers. The Role This is a senior level strategic National Account sales role which requires a Hunter to grow sales through the Independent Wholesale channel through the direct targeting of Key Account clients and maintaining a close working relationship with the Wholesalers: Weekly interaction with Key Wholesalers New business generation via customers and their teams as well as direct targeting and presentation to HoReCa Key Accounts Strategic margin performance Leadership and development of a small team Drive new business units and additional products through the sector Develop and implement a clear sales strategy for the channel Proactive targeting of new business opportunities as well as driving growth through existing customers. The person We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager from the Foodservice sector who is looking to progress their career. There is an excellent opportunity for development in to Senior Management, to be considered candidates must demonstrate: Demonstrable track record of new business acquisition within HoReCa Key/National Accounts Proven Wholesale experience -ideally with Key Independent wholesalers Strategic thinker with the ability to devise, execute and develop a sales strategy Leadership or mentoring experience Knowledge of the UK HoReCa sector with the ability to target and develop relationships within Key/National Accounts and Emerging Chains Knowledge of and passion for the UK Foodservice sector -in particular the high-premium end Excellent communication skills internally and externally and across a variety of stakeholders Based in the Mids/South and flexible to travel nationally and stay away from home as required Driven, motivated, disciplined strategic thinker Ambitious with senior leadership potential.
