The Company Our client has been running unique, high-level networking forums for over 20 years within the tech, industrial internet, fintech, infrastructure, and utilities sectors - all growth areas They are now seeking an accomplished Sponsorship Sales Manager to build on their success. The company’s ongoing growth is attributable to widening its range of forums in high growth sectors. In the past few years, it has increased from two forums to several, alongside additional offerings including bespoke events. The Company continues to grow and evolve through new partnerships, development of existing forums and numerous new opportunities. What makes this company different? The team are obsessed and passionate about making the customer experience the best it can possibly be. The Role Based in a bright, open-plan office just two minutes from Oxford Circus, you will be joining a successful team of 13 and managing around 20 events a year. You will act as an ambassador for the organisation’s name, brand and values and work closely with the CEO and Strategy Director to implement an ambitious growth plan. Your duties will include: Executing a new business growth plan to increase revenue Establishing and maintaining connections with key influencers and partner organisations Assuming full P&L responsibility for events revenue, including invoicing and undertaking in-depth reporting Working closely with the CEO and Senior Management to support all areas of the business as required Making a significant contribution to the overall strategic direction and leadership of the organisation Developing events based on member feedback to inform strategy and heighten the customer experience General management and motivation of team members Skills & Requirements At least 3 years experience of sales and business development in the events industry A proven track record of sales achievements that can be discussed in depth at interview Must be happy to work within a small and close-knit team and be genuinely enthusiastic about the opportunities that come with joining a growing business. Proven track record of delivering sales strategies and growth plans Experience of customer relationship management Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with external organisations Personable with excellent communication skills across all platforms - a true business networker skilled in bringing people together to share knowledge and experiences.
