Sales and Procurement Executive - £28000 - Hammersmith Company Our client is one of UKs fastest growing suppliers of IT outsourced Services to the Corporate, Enterprise and Public Sector Trade markets. Employing over 100 people nationwide our client has cemented top-level relationships with global technology partners including HPE, Cisco, Kaspersky, Symantec and Microsoft to offer the best technology and support. Role The Sales and Procurement Executive will take charge of supporting the sales from processing quotes and orders at the front end to purchasing activities at the back-end. Including but not limited to pricing and supplier negotiation, through to working closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure stock is delivered on time and orders fulfilled. The Sales and Procurement Executive will build relationships across a range of tiered suppliers placing orders from £500 to £1,000,000. Requirements The successful Sales and Procurement Executive must have an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to negotiate and improve tight margins, backed up by sound commercial judgement and a common sense approach. Purchasing experience within IT software or hardware, or other relevant high volume low margin product is preferred in addition to managing purchase orders through to completion and customer payment and stock experience with ERP systems and/or stock control tools. The ideal candidate will be coming from a sales support background who is now looking to take on more responsibility.
