Sales Development Representative (SaaS) - London - to £50k 1.25x OTE - Office based role predominantly, with some working from home to support need. No vehicle needed as part of this role, pool car available for client visits. Benefits: Holiday (relaxed approach towards limit), Pension. 2 Interview process. You will be joining an existing team of existing sales managers, and a sales director. Role reports to the sales director. Likely geographical coverage UK (Majority is London, some major cities outside of that). Role: Sales Development Representative (Artificial Intelligence / SaaS sector / Technology Sector) We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is keen to drive new customer discovery as part of an ambitious, creative and friendly sales team. We’re a rapidly growing intelligent automation scale-up in the heart of London. We help organisations automate complex decision-making through the use of our award-winning SaaS platform. As an SDR you’ll play a critical part in identifying new markets and prospective customers. Your goal will be to find and nurture prospects and deliver high-quality opportunities into our sales pipeline. You will also assist the field sales team by researching new market expansion opportunities. You’ll achieve this by applying your intelligence, tenacity and creativity. You’ll own one of the most important parts of our sales process and, with our help, we expect you to become an expert in your field. You’ll take pride in optimising the tactics and tools you will use to win new customers and you will be motivated to achieve your targets. You’ll enjoy collaborating with the wider team to deliver our expansion strategy and achieve significant market growth. If you’re interested in building a career in technology sales, this role will equip you with the skills you need to prosper. Key aspects of the role include: Conducting market discovery and identifying target accounts. Finding decision makers within target accounts using a variety of tools and tactics. Using outbound methods and messaging sequences to nurture decision makers. Initiating conversations with decision makers and qualifying accounts for importance. Managing inbound leads and scoring for relevance. Gathering intelligence about accounts and decision makers and building precise CRM profiles. Collaborating with an account executive to convert your prospects into clients. We don’t expect you to be an expert in the software markets we operate in (we’ll help you with that) but if you’ve previously worked with, or have an affinity towards, software or technology - you’ll have a definite advantage. Experience of sales prospecting could also be useful, but isn’t necessary to excel in this role. Qualification and Experience: Highly-organised and do your best work in a structured, consistent role. Meeting and exceeding sales objectives across the UK territory by promoting and selling our client through professional sales techniques? Proven sales track record for 3 years, meeting or exceeding targets selling technology solutions into large scale enterprise clients? Ability to craft a solution with appropriate licences and services that meets business goals based on client discussions? Play a role in executing the sales team strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base? Utilise CRM databases, to effectively report, transparency and accountability? Engage with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and feed that back into the team for joint success?
