Job Title: Sales Manager Location: London, SE16 Salary: Up to£40,000 pa (depending on experience) Bonus Hours: 7:30am- 4:00pm Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday 8am- 2pm every couple of months required as Management Cover) Holidays: 20 days 8 Bank/Public Holiday My Client a principal British supplier of fresh fish to the catering industry; a national supplier with strong local heritage. The spectrum of our 1000 client base reaches from small independents to large national accounts. The Role: We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager with a proven track record within the Foodservice industry, to manage and nurture our dynamic Sales team of 12 x BDMs and Account Managers. Experience in the fish industry desired, however, experience in the wider foodservice industry will also be accepted. Must be passionate, driven, motivated, eager to learn and assertive with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Responsibilities Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team Design and implement strategic business plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure it's strong presence Own recruiting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs Present sales, revenue and realistic forecasts to the Business Director Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status Requirements Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Salesperson, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Committed to continuous education and self- improvement with an inquisitive nature and passion for learning Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong business sense and fish industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Contact Details Contact Guy Hancox at HancoxRead Recruitment today via this advert
